Explore the Synergy of Human Design and Psychotherapy. Neutrino Weather 22-28 March. Review of Wilhelm Reich, a role model of healing

Reflection of the week… Valuing the enormous potential in a co-seeding between Human Design and Psychotherapy.

This weekend the Sun/Earth axis is moving into the left angle Cross of Healing and under this neutrino weather, I would like to share with you the design of an extraordinary contributor to the healing of our human spirit, Wilhelm Reich, and share some reflections on the bringing these two worlds together.

Reich did extraordinary investigations into the nature and function of orgasm, delved deep into the pulse energy of life (channel 3-60) through studying amoebas and extrapolating his investigations on his understanding of our human energetic nature in terms of the contraction/expansion of our cells and our energetic. His work has contributed tremendously to my understanding of the Human Design Bodygraph.

Reich also put forward an extraordinary and sometimes revolutionary understanding about the stages of childhood development, our potential fixations when we transit them and how such character fixation is ultimately anchored in the muscular armouring of our bodies. Our muscular armouring is the reflection of our mental defences in our physical body and it is very revealing to notice from a Human Design perspective that two people with similar charts can have very different muscular armouring and underlaying character structure.

‘Character’ is a crucial and important aspect in psychotherapy. It is shaped through the process of adaptation to social environment and educational circumstances. This adaptation is recorded within the muscular structure of our bodies as our response to cognitive, emotional, and behavioural conditioning. As we have a strong survival-oriented tendency to conform to the prevailing social rules and customs of our community and culture, this conformity – or ‘homogenization’ as Ra called it – plays a significant role in the formation of our character.

Character is not an inherent trait but rather a result of continuous interactions with our social environment. This highlights the dynamic nature of human personality and the potential for growth and change through therapeutic interventions. Both nature and nurture, or inherent traits and environmental influences, contribute to shaping an individual's character, and recognizing this duality can lead to a more holistic understanding of human development and behaviour.

Therapists often work with individuals to explore and understand their character traits, patterns, and behaviours. By examining how social conditioning and environmental influences have shaped their character, their clients gain insights into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and this self-awareness can be a crucial aspect of their therapeutic process.

Human Design can offer significant insights into the understanding of character formation through our individual Bodygraphs. It is in our Bodygraphs that we find the energetic architecture of our inherent traits laid out in the definition of our design. It is here, too, that we see the architecture underlying our mental stance in life, laid out in the aspects that stay ‘open’ or ‘white’ in our Bodygraph. It is the combination of these, as well as the environmental conditions and educational circumstances, that ultimately leads to the formation of our character.

A person’s character can therefore not be detected from their Bodygraph. In the openness of our design, we can pinpoint the energetic architecture of our mental body, but how that mental body, in combination with our essence, crystallizes into a specific character is dependent on environmental factors. Two similar Bodygraphs can result in totally different character formations.

This is where Human Design and psychotherapy can support each other. Psychotherapy has a long history of working with character and has many tools for its exploration. They are at service of a process of unlearning, of lovingly observing one’s old behaviour patterns and disassociating from them. Lovingly, because in the first place we installed these patterns to protect ourselves from pain and anxiety.

Human Design, on the other hand, offers deep insights into an individual’s inherent traits and the intelligence that sustains it, while showing us how our mind builds its specific defence mechanisms. Human Design provides us with insights in the underlying energetic mechanisms of our essence as well as our mental body, leading to the formation of character.

From my perspective, a co-seeding between the world of therapy and the world of Human Design can offer much value to both sides. If we offer Human Design analysis without taking the client’s character formation into account, we may not do as a good of a job as we think or feel because without knowing it our service can re-accentuate certain defensive stances our clients. Additionally, thanks to the experiential orientation of the world of therapy since over a century, it allows us to offer much more exploratory accompaniment to those who discover their Bodygraph and are eager to ‘experiment’ with their design. The world of therapy carries a wealth of exploratory dynamics which is almost totally absent in Human Design.

On the other hand, knowing a client’s unique energetic wiring thanks to their Bodygraph enriches therapy in two ways: on the one hand, it allows us to reflect back and empower the client in the potential of their essence and on the other hand it allows us to understand more deeply the energetic architecture underlaying their character formation.

That is why I want to convey to you this week, inspired by how love can heal our Spirit, that based on my personal experience and stance in each of these two fascinating worlds I see nothing but advantages in their co-seeding of each other.

“Love is the most healing force in the world; nothing goes deeper than love. It heals not only the body, not only the mind, but also the soul. If one can love, then all one's wounds dissappear. Then one becomes whole - and to be whole is to be holy.” (Osho)

Reflecting back on our first “Clarity Through Design” event on March 21st

Last Thursday night we enjoyed a ‘full house’ of those fabulous people interested in a 15-minute reflection on their Bodygraph. We asked all participants to first fill in our participation form which asks you specifically how we can be of service to you, what your therapeutic background is and how you eventually see yourself resonating with a specific enneatype so that we understand your character formation more clearly. This perspective proves very valuable to me and is a great new exploratory ground I’m very grateful to explore thanks to your participation.

The experience was very enjoyable to go through for me and my feeling is that we were able to provide valuable insights and perspectives on the issues the participants brough to the table. I also discovered a format of putting out my ‘reflections’ that honours my nature as a Reflector type and for that I’m tremendously grateful to all participants for offering me this wonderful opportunity.

With pleasure we will announce a next round and explore this further!
Thanks a lot, to all those who showed up!

The neutrino weather of the week

This week we are furthering our entry into the second half of the Quarter of Initiation. This segment of the Wheel of life accentuates the necessity to come to meet the other in their difference while not compromising our own uniqueness. In psychotherapy, it’s the part of the wheel that assists us in our movement towards our father figure.

The presence of the Channel of Initiation in the neutrino weather can help us to centre on the innocence of our Being and this week’s weather in general can be of great assistance in terms of respectful communication with each other.

Let’s be aware filters of the neutrino weather and take this week as an opportunity for learning from each other’s position instead of facing our differences with fear!
