Neutrino Weather 8-15 March 2024. Human Design and Therapy. New offering: Clarity through Design. Claudio Naranjo profile review.

Dive deep into this week's emotional climate and explore how Human Design intersects with psychotherapy to unlock personal transformation and self-discovery.

Neutrino weather of the week 8-15 March 2024

This week we continue under strong emotional imprinting that can bring about a heavy interpretation of our experiential circumstances. This invitation is to pay attention to the grace of tuning into ourselves and the childlike nature of our innocence.

Announcing - Clarity through Design - a weekly Zoom call where I can address your situation through the Human Design lens

This is an immersive online event where I will share my reflections and know-how regarding your Bodygraph in order to assist your process of awareness. I will gladly apply my long-time experience with Human Design and humanistic therapy, offering you tailored insights and strategic guidance.

Each participant receives 15 minutes of focused, individualized exploration into their design, shedding light on their energetic blueprint and the dilemmas inherent to your Bodygraph.

Beyond your personal case, you'll benefit from the collective wisdom of the group, gaining diverse perspectives and broader insights as I address various cases.

Whether you're facing a crossroad, seeking deeper self-awareness, or simply curious about your energetic makeup, "Clarity Through Design" offers a unique opportunity to see your life through the transformative lens of Human Design, fostering personal growth and alignment with your true essence.

Each session is limited to 8 participants. Sessions take place each Thursday from 18:00 CET on Zoom. Participants will receive the recording of the session.

If you choose an Annual Subscription on my Substack, you are my guest to participate in one session for free. I will email you individually a voucher code for that.

Reflection of the week… Human Design and Therapy

The way I see it, academic anthropological theory has arrived at a point where Human Design can be the next logical step to take. But it’s such a jump in understanding that it is likely to meet strong resistance and may never break through the walls of academic thinking.

The fact that Human Design is a synthesis, merging elements from worlds that are esoteric as well as scientific is an obvious hindrance. We have difficulty acknowledging that real synthesis is in fact a transcendence of the constituents.

Another obvious problem is that modern science regards itself as objective, whereas Human Design, like all mystical paths, knows that the realization of consciousness is purely subjective. It is an internal and individual experience. Ra once said that the awakening of our witnessing consciousness is ‘our human glory’ exactly because it’s such a one-person-at-a-time endeavour

So given that Human Design points to an inner path that we all have to walk alone and, in this sense, is an art of living, my intention is to highlight the value this information can have in the context of psychotherapy which is both an art and a human science that is person-centred.

My experience has also brought me to the understanding that there is a two-way stream in this perspective. Human Design can learn a lot from the world of psychotherapy and its know-how regarding the inner processes of transformation and, vice-versa, it can offer psychotherapy with an essence-centred approach.

When I got introduced to Human Design more than 20 years ago, it was brought to me through an individual analysis of my personal Bodygraph. There was no accompanying process that offered an exploration of the information other than living one’s daily life. It was just a powerful transmission of information, and the message and encouragement accompanying the analysis was: “Don’t believe anything I say, experiment with your Strategy and Inner Authority by yourself, and observe the ‘not-self’ strategies of your mind in all the openness of your chart.” No further assistance was offered.

My inner observation is that I came to Human Design in a state that I would describe as ‘normally neurotic’. In other words, as someone who might pass for normal in daily life, but who carries within himself all kinds of old baggage, manifesting as protective, as well as addictive, patterns of behaviour that are no longer necessary, but which still hang around me. In a way, I was rather like a knight in armour who had forgotten that the war was over and that it was now safe to take off his protective metal layers.

Anybody coming in touch with the teachings of Human Design is encouraged to experiment with them not just intellectually but in ‘real life’.  Ra accentuated the importance of it. I once saw him bang the table while waving a Human Design chart in the air and shouting “It’s just a piece of paper!” In other words, he strongly encouraged us to experiment with our body intelligence, with our strategy and inner authority, while disassociating from the ‘not-self’ strategies of the mind.

Ra also reminded us regularly that he himself had a design that was imbued with self-empowering investigative energy and very little oriented towards the experiential side of life. It wasn’t in his nature to share all kinds of exploratory processes that could allow us a deeper discovery of our design. He himself had gone through an individual mystical experience, from which it took him years to recover, and left him so transformed that, at first glance, his own mother didn’t recognize him. With great dedication, he did all he could to lay out the information in such a way that it can stand the test of time and allow us to explore and experiment. But the ‘how’ is up to each one of us.

What I have noticed for myself, during my involvement with the knowledge over the years, is that there is a tendency to fall into the trap of using the information in defence of our neurotic stance in life, instead of allowing it to reveal itself through exploration. Being engaged with Human Design is meant to stay revelatory, it is not supposed to get fixed through our mental approach. Here are some words from Ra that can make this a little clearer:

“When you are correct, themes that you've heard in the classroom stop becoming themes because you just realize it. You live it, you see it, and it is not something that is just a concept anymore. And one of the things to recognize is that it's not easy to bring to that level of realization this kind of knowledge."

When exploring Human Design is accompanied with therapy and meditative practices, it offers a very rich platform of self-discovery. I personally attended many therapy groups, including inner child therapy, breathwork, creativity workshops, family constellation, bioenergetic pulsation, co-dependency and conscious relating, and participated many times in original Osho Meditative Therapies and active meditations. All these methods are designed to offer deeper access to our inner world and helped me discover my design in more depth. They allowed the information to reveal itself to me instead of staying stuck in a mental understanding of my design.

Learning to observe the mental defenses we’ve built up in the so-called ‘open’, or white, spaces of our Bodygraph, and understanding how these defenses crystallize in a character with which we identify, allows us to see the strong tendency of our mind to take a controlling grip on our lives. Actually, it’s the mind trying to protect us by setting up its defenses to do so, but the problem is that we end up identifying with those defenses and taking them to be us.

As spectators looking through the Human Design window, we’re invited to rise above this level, observing both mind and body from a more neutral place in order to love and embrace the inherent intelligence of the housing that contains our consciousness. For me, this is a process that requires therapy.
